CAFC / Right Tracks Progress

Unfortunately the Retails were unable to fulfil the requirements of AFLNT and have consequently failed to secure full time entry into the 2014/15 TIO NTFL Premier League competition. After ongoing discussions with the Alice Springs Town Council, the club was unable to secure an oval in Alice Springs to hold 8 home games. Furthermore, the Central Australian Football Club (CAFC) was also unsuccessful in acquiring the necessary funding to support the side for three years in the NTFL.

Looking to the future, the CAFC will continue to strive towards securing a place in the NTFL competition on a full time basis and is hopeful of eventually achieving this outcome. In conjunction, a meeting was held between the CAFC committee and staff from AFLNT on the 28th of May in order to determine what steps need to be taken in the near future for the club to become viable.
